About us
Hoffmann Dental Manufaktur is one of the most traditional enterprises in the German dental industry. The founder of the company, Dr Otto Hoffmann, invented the first reliable dental cement in 1892: zinc phosphate cement, which is used 40,000 times a day worldwide as Hoffmann's Cement. Founded at the end of the 19th century, the company is now owned by the third generation of the Hoffmann family. The company's goal is the production and distribution of sustainable dental materials for sustainable dentistry. Hoffmann's focuses on inorganic chemistry in combination with naturopathically effective substances from phytomedicine, api-medicine and ozone therapy. Hoffmann's deliberately avoids the use of monomers and nanoparticles. Hoffmann Dental Manufaktur maintains relationships with trading partners and research institutes in more than 70 countries

Pulpine - MTA Alternative with Propolis and Eugenol for treating deep carious lesions
Direct and Indirect Pulp Capping with Hoffmann`s Pulpine. The matrix with eugenol and propolis sets quickly and limits the possible side effects of alkaline calcium hydroxide, such as permanent stimulus or uncontrolled necrosis. The antibacterial properties of propolis (bee resin) supplement the disinfecting properties possessed by calcium hydroxide. Very good biocompatibility. Relieves pain.

Leonardo Zinc Phosphate Cement "Harmonic Shades" for definitive cementation of full-ceramic restorations made of Zirconia or Lithiumdisilicate
Restorations made of zirconium dioxide, aluminium oxide or lithium disilicate ceramic are more or less translucent depending on the material strength. Differently coloured stumps, metal posts or implant abutments compromise the overall aesthetic result. - A case for Leonardo.
Leonardo is a set of different shades of zinc phosphate cements. Leonardo is opaque and can be mixed in order to obtain a uniform priming. Leonardo can even mimic the pink of a vital pulp. - With the test fluid, a try-in can be carried out prior to final cementing.
Leonardo is hypo-allergenic, vegan and sustainable.
Restorations cemented with Leonardo are super-biocompatible and aesthetic.
Pro-Tip: Leonardo is also brilliant as a liner under composite fillings. It enhances the aesthetic result and prevents free monomers from damaging the vital pulp thus maximizing the durability and longevity of composite fillings.
