VOCO – The Dentalists
The family-run dental company VOCO located in Cuxhaven (Germany) is one of the leading manufacturers in the industry, both nationally and internationally. The product portfolio comprises more than 100 preparations, with a focus on preventive, restorative, prosthetic and digital dentistry. The products are manufactured at the headquarters and are therefore 100 percent “Made in Germany”. 470 people are employed in the departments of research, production, sales and administration in Germany. Another 400 employees are responsible for sales worldwide and take care of dentists and depots on site.
In addition to user-friendliness, the highest safety standards and product quality have top priority at VOCO: Since September 2021, VOCO has been one of the first German dental companies to be fully certified under the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR) in accordance with (EU) 2017/745. Meaning that medical products of class I and IIa manufactured at the Cuxhaven site are always produced and placed on the market in accordance with valid European guidelines.

MTA vpt
Preserving pulp vitality in daily practice
Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) stands for biocompatibility and long-term clinical success in preserving the vitality of the pulp. With MTA vpt, VOCO offers a reliable material that is specially designed for the needs of daily restorative therapy and makes first-class pulp protection affordable.
MTA vpt comes in an attractively priced hand-mixed version (10 g powder + 10 ml liquid) and as a capsule for practical direct application. The dimensions of the capsule match those of the classic glass ionomer cements and can be mixed with the VOCO GIC Mixer, for example.
VOCO Profluorid Varnish
Profluorid Varnish is a moisture-tolerant colophonybased varnish containing 5% sodium fluoride (22,600 ppm fluoride). As well as rapidly sealing the dentinal tubules, VOCO Profluorid Varnish also causes calcium fluoride deposits to form on the tooth surface. These deposits protect the tooth from acid attacks, promote remineralisation and contribute to the long-term formation of fluoroapatite. Profluorid Varnish is available in seven pleasant flavours and tooth-shaded for better aesthetics.
Grandio blocs / Grandio disc
Grandio blocs and Grandio disc are a nano-ceramic hybrid materials for CAD/CAM restorations with an 86% filler content. It achieves strength values comparable to silicate ceramics while being more antagonist-friendly and exhibiting tooth-like chewing behaviour with low abrasion. With its unique material properties, Grandio blocs / disc enables a faster, more efficient workflow: firing and glaze-firing steps are no longer required; the material only needs to be polished and, if desired, characterised. This reduces working time and increases patient satisfaction. One Day Dentistry is becoming even more accessible. Its range of indications includes inlays, onlays, veneers, crowns, implant-supported crowns, and veneering of load-bearing framework constructions.
