Provi Temp K – Strong, Flexible and Aesthetic Temporary Restorations

High-Performance Automix Composite for Temporary Crowns, Bridges, Inlays, Onlays and Veneers

Provi Temp K is a self-curing, automix composite material designed for the direct fabrication of short- and long-term temporary dental restorations. Based on multifunctional methacrylates, it combines high mechanical strength, excellent flexibility and natural aesthetics for reliable provisional treatment.

Its unique combination of high final hardness and elasticity makes Provi Temp K particularly suitable for extensive temporary bridges and restorations with longer spans.

High Strength Meets Excellent Flexibility

Provi Temp K offers outstanding mechanical properties, including high flexural strength, excellent abrasion resistance and low polymerisation shrinkage. The combination of strength and elasticity supports the fabrication of durable temporary restorations, even with thin crown margins or extended bridge spans. Its low polymerisation shrinkage contributes to excellent marginal accuracy and a precise fit, helping to protect prepared teeth against external influences while maintaining occlusion.

Natural Aesthetics and Excellent Polishability

Provi Temp K combines mechanical performance with attractive aesthetic properties. The material can be polished to a high gloss and offers good colour stability for natural-looking temporary restorations. Its fluorescence under UV light further supports the reproduction of natural tooth characteristics.

Fast and Convenient Automix Application

The automix system ensures consistent mixing and allows direct application into a previously prepared impression. With a working time of approximately 50 seconds at 23°C, Provi Temp K enables efficient clinical handling. After approximately 1–2 minutes in the mouth at 37°C, the temporary restoration can be removed during its elastic phase.

Final curing is completed after approximately 4 minutes and 30 seconds from the start of mixing when post-cured in warm water at 45–55°C, or after approximately 6 minutes at room temperature. Once fully cured, the restoration can be finished with rotary instruments and polished to a high gloss.

Easy Repair and Adjustment

Another important advantage of Provi Temp K is its excellent repairability. In the event of a fracture, the cured material can be repaired using freshly mixed Provi Temp K or suitable light-curing composites. This makes Provi Temp K a practical solution for temporary restorations requiring adjustments or repairs during the treatment period.

Versatile Clinical Applications

Provi Temp K is indicated for the fabrication of:

  • Temporary crowns

  • Temporary bridges, including extended bridge spans

  • Temporary inlays and onlays

  • Temporary veneers

  • Short- and long-term provisional restorations

Key Benefits

  • High final hardness combined with excellent elasticity

  • Particularly suitable for extensive temporary bridges

BisiCAL – Bioactive Protection for Vital Pulp

Light-Curing, Resin-Modified Calcium Silicate Pulp Capping Material with MTA Fillers

BisiCAL is a bioactive, light-curing pulp capping material designed for direct and indirect pulp capping. Its resin-modified calcium silicate formulation with MTA fillers combines bioactive properties with convenient handling and controlled light curing. Developed to support pulp protection and the formation of tertiary dentin, BisiCAL offers an efficient solution for vital pulp therapy and deep cavity preparations.

Bioactive Calcium Release for Pulp Protection

BisiCAL releases calcium (Ca²⁺) and hydroxide (OH⁻) ions, creating an alkaline environment that is unfavourable to bacterial growth. Its bioactive fillers support apatite formation and stimulate the formation of tertiary dentin, helping to protect the pulp and support its natural healing processes. With a pH value of approximately 12 after 24 hours, BisiCAL combines bioactivity with a strongly alkaline environment.

Controlled Light Curing in Just 40 Seconds

Unlike chemically setting pulp capping materials, BisiCAL offers controlled polymerisation through light curing. After 40 seconds of light exposure, the material is set and the subsequent restorative procedure can begin. This controlled setting allows dentists to continue treatment efficiently and helps maintain the material's position during subsequent restorative steps.

Precise Application Without Mixing

BisiCAL is supplied as a ready-to-use, single-component material in a syringe.
Its thixotropic consistency enables precise placement, even in deep and difficult-to-access cavities.
The supplied needle tips facilitate direct application, eliminating mixing steps and reducing the risk of mixing errors.

  • High radiopacity for radiographic visibility

  • Moisture-tolerant formulation

  • Low solubility

  • Good flexural and compressive strength

  • Stable placement following light curing

  • Convenient integration into adhesive restorative procedures

Clinical Applications

BisiCAL is designed for:

  • Direct pulp capping – application to exposed vital pulp in clinically appropriate cases

  • Indirect pulp capping – protection of the pulp in deep cavities without pulp exposure

  • Pulp protection in deep cavity preparations – supporting vital pulp preservation during restorative treatment

Key Benefits

  • Bioactive, resin-modified calcium silicate with MTA fillers
