Self-Adhesive, Dual-Cure Resin Cement for Permanent Dental Restorations
E-Cem DC is a self-adhesive, dual-curing resin cement developed for the permanent luting of indirect dental restorations. Combining convenient handling with versatile clinical applications, E-Cem DC provides dental professionals with an efficient solution for modern restorative and prosthetic dentistry.
Simplified Cementation Without Separate Bonding
One of the key advantages of E-Cem DC is its self-adhesive formulation. No separate conditioning or bonding of the tooth structure is required, reducing the number of clinical steps and simplifying the cementation procedure.
Dual-Cure Technology for Versatile Applications
E-Cem DC combines light-activated and chemical curing mechanisms, supporting polymerisation even in areas where light access is limited, such as beneath indirect restorations or inside root canals.
The convenient automix syringe with a 4:1 base-to-catalyst mixing ratio ensures consistent mixing and enables direct application of the material.
Wide Range of Clinical Indications
E-Cem DC is indicated for the permanent cementation of:
Metal and metal-ceramic crowns and bridges
Crowns and bridges made of reinforced ceramics, including zirconia
CAD/CAM-fabricated all-ceramic crowns and bridges using CEREC® systems
Ceramic, metal and composite inlays and onlays
Root canal posts
Metal, metal-ceramic and reinforced ceramic restorations on implant abutments
For root canal post cementation, E-Cem DC can be applied directly into the prepared root canal using a suitable endodontic application tip.
Efficient Handling and Application
The automix system provides a homogeneous mixture of base and catalyst pastes without manual mixing.
During cementation, excess material can be briefly light-cured for approximately five seconds to facilitate removal before final polymerisation.
E-Cem DC combines simplified application, versatile indications and dual-curing technology to support efficient and reliable cementation workflows.
